dpr motorsport - A quality assured approach to Caterham racing
Last year the Jon Walker R300 built and prepared by dpr motorsport won the
inaugural 2009 Superlight R300 championship in convincing style with a race in
hand for the final round at Snetterton.
dpr motorsport also won the Caterham Roadsport A Team championship being the
only Caterham motorsport team to gain victories across more than one step of the
Caterham Motorsport ladder. Our Arrive & Drive car is reserved exclusively for race use. It is not available for general
track day or corporate hire. For 2010 Mark Shaw has exclusive use of the
dpr motorsport "Arrive & Drive" R300 We are now taking reservations for our
Autumn build slots for the 2011 championship and Arrive & Drive in our own R300. We have now completed six R300 builds with five cars racing in the 2010
Superlight championship and the sixth racing in the Magnificent 7 series.
(Racing in M7). All of our R300 builds are to the same championship winning specification as with the original R300 supplied to Jon Walker
in August 2008. Our build approach is subject to continuous improvement as
we get more race time on this car. We offer a number of engineering improvements over the standard specification to ensure maximum race
performance, on-track reliability and driver comfort. As part of our build
price we include a full race set-up to ensure that the car is fully optimised
for race use. In addition as part of our car handover, the final part of our build includes
a test day shakedown that combines a final on-track set-up with driver coaching.
By comparing the on-track lap times with our hot lap benchmarks we ensure that
all of our R300 builds are completed to the same championship-winning standard.
We are happy to discuss stand-alone R300 builds and to ensure maximum
competitive advantage we offer support options ranging from one-off support days
to full support. We are involved in preparing cars for the Britsport and
Magnificent 7 race series in addition to the official Caterham championship. For further information contact David Rowe, on

The 2010 Caterham Superlight R300 Championship is the second year of a new
series for the all-new Superlight 175 bhp R300 race car. In the
initial year grids reached 15 cars with a grid of 30+ for 2010.
The Caterham Superlight R300 Championship comprises seven double-header rounds. A fully supported race weekend will normally involve a pre-race weekend test followed by a qualifier and two 30 minute races.
